When to choose Nylon (PA) for your part.

Nylon is the engineering-grade filament in our library. It's what you print when the part has to actually work under load — gears that mesh thousands of times, bearings that spin continuously, hinges that flex for years, structural brackets that take real force. PLA, PETG and ABS will all fatigue and crack under these conditions; Nylon keeps going.

The reasons Nylon is harder to print well: it needs high nozzle temperatures (not every printer can reach these), it's extremely hygroscopic (wet Nylon prints as a foamy mess), and it warps moderately as it cools. Our high-temperature, enclosed FDM printers handle this easily, we store Nylon in sealed dry-boxes, and we dry the filament immediately before printing. That's why our Nylon prints come out clean and strong, not foamy and weak.

For customers in Gurgaon's automotive corridor, Manesar industrial belt, or serious hardware startups — Nylon is often the material that lets you skip machined parts entirely. We regularly print Nylon gears, cam followers, bushings, and high-load brackets that perform as well as injection-moulded parts. For the very highest strength applications, ask us about carbon-fibre-reinforced Nylon (PA-CF).

Frequently asked questions

Three reasons: the filament itself costs 2-3× more, Nylon requires very high print temperatures (260-280°C) and dry storage, and failed prints are more common. The ₹6/g rate reflects the real cost of printing Nylon correctly.
